Hilary is one of my favorite adventure buddies (you may recognize her from my trip to Mayne Island!). As much as I'd like to hog her to myself, I'm pretty excited that she has found such an incredible life partner in Greg. Last summer, on the day they were moving into their new home, Greg got down on one knee in the doorway and asked Hilary to marry him. I've been eagerly anticipating their wedding and engagement photos ever since!

Since we all reside in Pitt Meadows, and have a deep passion for the mountains and walking trails here, we decided to capture these two amongst a view that truly feels like home. However, it's clear through these images that "home" is really when they're with one another.

Near the end of the session, I remembered discovering the most gorgeous cherry blossom lined street a few days previously while driving around aimlessly at sunset. We lucked out that the trees were still in bloom and added a gorgeous punch of colour to our grey day!
