Weddings are my first love in the photography world. Every time a couple chooses me to document their wedding day, I am honoured and humbled beyond belief. Being a wedding photographer is one of the most intimate roles on a wedding day. I'm present from the getting ready to the dancing; standing beside the bride and groom through each moment of the most emotional and beautiful moments of their lives. This truly is a gift! I value getting to know my couples deeply before their wedding day so that I can better serve them when they say, "I do". As a result, engagement sessions are complimentary- the opportunity to know my clients better is one of the most important aspects of photography for me. Spending a day adventuring with my couples not only helps me know them better and photograph them in a way that represents them best, it is also a cherished time for me. This helps me tell your story more honestly and authentically.

I'm passionate about engagement sessions. I believe in them so deeply, that they are included free of charge with every wedding package I offer so that there are no barriers to my clients having one.
I'm not afraid to get my hands (or feet) dirty for an engagement session. Whether we hike a mountain, take a road trip, or document you in your home- you can bet I will be gung-ho for whatever you choose. I want your engagement session to be unique and meaningful to you.
Engagement sessions are not only a great way for us to get to know one another, but they help me serve you better as my client. The better I know your personalities, the poses that you really "melt" into, and how you and your fiancée work together, the better I can serve you on your wedding day. You'll not only be more relaxed in front of my camera, but I will know you two so well that our portrait time will be a breeze, while still capturing all the meaningful things that make you YOU!

I’ve always loved documenting families, but when I became a mom in 2018, that passion grew. Seeing my own son grow and change so quickly has really solidified my belief that documenting our lives is important. I absolutely loved photographing families. My approach to family sessions is really laid back. Though I do strive for a few “posed” shots, I mostly aim to capture your family as you are. Laughing, playing, and being with one another. There is something so special about the bond within a family. I’d love to capture yours!
